I am having a similar issue. I have always used Nike Training App and it would track my calories and now it won't. I did 31 minutes this morning which it shows bu ti have 0 calories burned. Same issue with the calories, a 45 min workout says I only burned 30 calories. I found the best way around any issues is to go to the workouts on your watch and select the other workout to run in the background while you do your Nike training club. Seems to track it more accurately and means you have a back up. Jun 1, AM. Otherwise if the Nike app starts over your Apple workout or you switch back to it, it stops your Apple workout altogether.
I was so mad when a 45 min workout registered 8 calories because I forgot to swap back and track using the Watch app.

Each category has Premium and basic workouts interspersed, with workouts ranging between five minutes and an hour. From what I can tell, you can only follow one program at a time. A few other quibbles: The videos stop completely if you close your lock screen unlike some other apps that will continue playing audio, even if there is an accompanying video , so it may drain battery faster than other apps.
I like Nike Training Club because it makes exercising a lot less complicated. In many ways, it fulfills the function of a personal trainer —it gives you building blocks to work with, sets a schedule, and sends you reminders to exercise—without the cost but also without the added level of personal attention that comes with working out with a trainer.
