There are battles with swords, blades, and bows and arrows, as well as some blood, strangling, a severed head, and dead animals.
Characters tell stories of bloody, exhausting battles, and a man smacks a young boy across the face. Language is minor words include "ass," "fart," and "pissing" , and there's a little drinking -- but no sexual content. Goofs When the Roman patrol is dispatched to look for the lost grain shipment, a signifier is seen leading them out. This is not factual.

Crazy credits The names of the Director, of the Writers screenplay and Novel and of the main Cast are red in an old English language. User reviews Review. Top review. Just OK! The movie has a fairly good opening in my opinion, a rather dull middle and a predictable ending.
The problem with it for me is the same problem I'm seeing with a lot of the new action films. The cameras stays very tight, action is all blurred and close up, so you can't see what's going on. The sound track is all keyed up so you won't be concentrating on the errors in the action.
